Winning a championship is the ultimate goal every season and this year the
Barnstormers had the team but came up short. One of the positives that came out of the season was the end of season awards. The
Barnstormers swept the
Manager of the Year, MVP, and Pitcher of the Year for the first time in league history. Congratulations to
Butch Hobson, Blake Gailen, and Dwayne Pollok.

In another note,
Blake Gailen was named the
Independent Baseball Player of the Year for all Independent leagues! His effort has been rewarded as he has already signed a contract for the Colorado Rockies next season!
